Job Description: THIS IS A 24 MONTH LIMITED TERM POSITION WITH THE POTENTIAL OF CONVERTING TO PERMANENT AT A LATER TIME. Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Building Trades, CF and the lead direction of the Lead Groundskeeper I, CF, the Pest Control Technician, CF will supervise and work one inmate in the control or eradication of any or all of the following: Roaches, ants, snails, silverfish, spiders, mosquitoes, or other insects miscellaneous insects, birds, rats, mice, rabbits or other vertebra as needed, weeds and any other growing plants as may be required. Responsible to keep pest control permits and licenses current at all times. Responsible for ongoing training and maintaining ongoing documentation of all training for self and crew. Required to review and observe all applicable laws and regulations. **** MUST possess a Field Representative, Branch 2, License (General Pest) issued by the Structural Pest Control Board of the CA Dept of Consumer Affairs.
