Job Description: ISP is canvassing the certification list and is accepting applications from lateral transfers and reinstatements. If you are interested, please submit a completed state application and a copy of your current performance evaluation to the address indicated above. If you are a lateral transfer, submit the above, plus a transfer packet. 'Per Governor's Executive Order #S-12-09, this position is subject to the reduction of 13.85% to facilitate the three furlough days named in the order, which is subject to end on 06/30/2010. The minimum and maximum salaries indicated on this bulletin DO NOT reflect this pay reduction.' All Methods of appointment may be considered. This position has the possibility of becoming permanent. Plumber II incumbents install, maintain, inspect, and repair standard plumbing equipment concerned with water, gas, oil, sewage, fire control, steam and refrigeration systems; troubleshoot plumbing systems; install and repair pumps, maintain a plumbing shop, make rough sketches and estimate labor and materials for minor plumbing installation and repair; advise on selection, ordering and storage of plumbing supplies and equipment; consult with other tradespeople; keep simple records and make reports; and instruct and lead unskilled assistants. This level may prepare lists of materials and supplies; estimate job costs; lay out a job; and lead the work of craftspeople or helpers. Additional Information:
