This advertisement will be used for the current vacancy and possibly any future vacancies. ***This position may possibly become permanent in the future*** Per Executive order #S-13-09, issued 7/1/09, this position is subject to pay reduction of 13.85% to facilitate the three furlough days named in the order, which is subject to end on 6/30/2010. The minimum and maximum salaries indicated DO NOT reflect this pay reduction. Duties: Under the direct supervision of the Correctional Case Records Supervisor. The Correctional Case Records Analyst performs a variety of technical and analytical tasks in the correctional case records keeping. Duties include Review analyze, audit and interpret court commitment orders to determine the crime, length of sentence, applicable enhancements and credit eligibility. Interpret and apply appropriate laws policies and procedures. Refer potential sentencing discrepancies to the Legal Processing Unit. Apply applicable credit statues toward commitments to compute minimum and maximum release dates. Disseminate inmate credit eligibility to the Inmate Assignment Office. Review, analyze, audit and interpret Board of Paroles Hearing revocation release dates and controlling discharge dates. Enter court commitments and parole violator data into the offender Based Information System. Perform audits and update inmate records. Process Holds/Warrants/Detainers. Respond to inmate interview requests and appeals at the informal level. Contact with courts, probation department, other units and related agencies on routine and complex matters regarding correctional case records and state prison commitments. Additional Information:
