The minimum and maximum salaries indicated DO NOT reflect this pay reduction. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Under the direction of the Chief Deputy Warden, the Correctional Administrator (Associate Warden) for Facilities plans, organizes, directs the program for the safe custody discipline and care/treatment of all inmates housed within the institution. The Associate Warden is responsible for establishing and maintaining the overall security within the housing units. The Associate Warden provides ongoing management for Fire and Life Safety, Classification, Custody, Inmate Work Incentive, Training Programs, facility cleanliness, organization planning, and management, fiscal reviews and other duties as assigned by the Chief Deputy Warden. The Associate Warden has oversight responsibility for the reception, evaluation, orientation and classification of all civil addicts received at the institution. The Associate Warden is responsible for all housing facilities (Facilities I, II, III, IV-SNY) at the institution. In addition, the Associate Warden - Facilities is the Chief Disciplinary Officer and is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and evaluation of all disciplinary methods and actions. The Associate Warden of Facilities is also delegated the responsibility of chairing all Institution Classification Committee hearings. WHO SHOULD APPLY?
