Job Description: This position requires the incumbent maintain consistent and regular attendance; communicate effectively (orally and in writing if both appropriate) in dealing with the public and/or other employees; develop and maintain knowledge and skill related to specific tasks, methodologies, materials, tools and equipment; complete assignments in a timely and efficient manner; and, adhere to departmental policies and procedures regarding attendance, leave, and conduct. Under the supervision of an Accounting Administrator I, this position provides the monthly reconciliation of various Governmental Funds; prepares and posts journal entries and correction letters; prepares yearend financial statements; analyzes assigned Federal grant expenditures and receipts; and prepares federal financial reports for assigned grants. Applicant must possess good computer, reconciliation and analytical skills and must have some Federal experience. MUST BE REACHABLE ON A STATE HIRING LIST OR ELIGIBLE FOR TRANSFER OR LATERAL ASSIGNMENT.
