Job Description: Manage a staff engaged in various complex accounting and systems activities including accounting of the Federal Trust Fund, Cash Receipts/Account Receivable Accounting, Reimbursement billing and collections. This includes planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the operations and activities of the above. Oversee the preparation of Bank Reconciliation Report, Federal Trust Fund monthly and year-end financial statements. Monitor the preparation of federal Financial Status Reports (FSR’s). Provide training and guidance to program staff regarding reporting and availability of Federal Funds. Resolve the most complex issues regarding billing and collecting of Scheduled Reimbursements and Federal Trust Fund Reimbursements. Review and draft responses to audit reports and findings involving the Federal Trust Fund. Develop and implement audit recommendations. Review legislation for fiscal impact/requirements and provide analysis and recommendations regarding billings, collections, and the Federal Trust Fund. Qualified candidates must have eligibility for State employment, be in a reachable rank on an employment list for this classification, be currently in this classification, or have transfer eligibility to this classification.
