Job Description: Under the supervision of Rehabilitation Supervisor, duties involve a wide range of interpreting for Rehabilitation Counselors for the Deaf or other deaf or hard of hearing staff members when necessary. Activities include, but are not limited to: interpreting professional meetings, telephone calls, one-on-one meetings with departmental staff or the general public, case staffing, training sessions, departmental operations, inter-departmental meetings, conferences and public events as needed by the department. Special Requirements: Must understand the Departments mission and goals; be flexible; able to travel, maintain availability to work same hours as the assigned RCD; other duties may be assigned by Rehabilitation Supervisor.
