Job Description: QUALIFICATIONS: 1) Possession of, or eligibility for, a California Standard Teaching Credential authorizing the holder to teach Deaf/Hard of hearing students; 2) Eligibility to meet the No Child Left Behind subject area requirements; 3) Proficiency in American Sign Language; 4) Good command of written English; 5) Strong cultural perspective of the Deaf; 6) Education and/or experience in one or more of the following areas preferred: experience working with students from a diverse background, bilingual education, learning differences, team teaching, transition, or project-based instruction. IN ADDITION TO MONTHLY SALARY IS $100 FOR AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE AND $700 FOR RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION. Additional Information:
