Job Description: The bureau’s primary function is the acquisition and dissemination of timely and accurate data to provide vital information on our Department’s programs. This information is the basis for budgetary projections, assessment of program policies, and evaluation of outcomes. The analyst coordinates data collection, compilation and analysis for mandated federal and state reports. This includes designing and modifying data collection instruments, adapting them for electronic use, working with counties to ensure accurate and timely reporting, and preparing data for publication on a CDSS Website (www.cdss.ca.gov/research). Working knowledge of Excel is required. Candidates must also have strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills. Additional Information:
