Job Description: Rehabilitation Therapist classes are used for diagnostic, rehabilitative and treatment services. These services are provided through appropriate forensic inmate assessment, treatment, service planning, theraputic activities, discharge planning, and community reintegration by using the principles and practices of these disciplines to develop, maintain, or restore physical, emotional, and social competencies. Who May Apply: Persons currently in the classification eligible to transfer, lateral transfer, voluntary demotions, reinstatements, those eligible for appointment from a certification list, and employees on a SROA list or designated surplus. How To Apply: Interested individuals should submit a STD 678, Examination and/or Employment Application (Rev. 08/09 or later) to the address below. Please indicate your eligibility in box 12 of the application. Surplus applicants must attach a copy of their letter. The STD 678 can be assessed through the SPB website at www.spb.ca.gov.
