Job Description:
Desirable Qualifications Ability to work independently, as well as in a team setting. Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail oriented, able to multi-task while remaining efficient. Ability to prioritize and complete assignments to meet critical deadlines. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Proficient in analyzing equity portfolios using market data and systems such as FactSet, BARRA, and Bloomberg. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Agency Description The California State Teachers’ Retirement System is a Special Fund Agency. We are the second largest public pension plan and the largest teachers’ retirement fund in the United States. Our primary responsibility is to provide retirement related benefits and services to teachers in public schools from kindergarten through community college.
