Job Description:
Under supervision of the Supervising Program Technician PTII and in accordance with established guidelines. The Program Technician will be Responsible for interpreting and entering complaints and special incidents for all health facility types from complainants by mail, telephone, and in person. Enter information into the Electronic Licensing Management Systems (ELMS). Analyze complaints to process in a timely matter in reference to a priority #1, #2, etc. Distribution and assignment of complaint to the appropriate supervisor and evaluators. Responsible for updating complaint files and notifying all agencies of results of the investigation. Responsible for setting up appeal hearings and notifying all parties required. Keep records of all outstanding complaints to make sure that all complaints are done in a timely manner. Trained as back up for citation processing. Back-up for timekeeping and travel claims. Responsible for maintaining files for all related duties, establishing new files, purging files and arranging for the destruction of files according to Department policy. Responsible to answer office telephones when assigned. Responsible for office procurements, forms, supplies and inventory. Responsible for special purchase orders, contracts, vendors for price/delivery. Process shipments, store and conduct inventory, process paperwork to Business services and Accounting. Maintains property cards on staff for inventory of material/equipment, i.e., cameras, manuals. etc.
