Job Description: APPLICANTS MUST HAVE CIVIL SERVICE ELIGIBILITY (ON CURRENT ELIGIBILITY EXAM LIST OR CURRENT/FORMER STATE EMPLOYEE). THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON APPROVAL OF A HIRING FREEZE EXEMPTION REQUEST. Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Building Trades, the Electrician III is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility; High, medium, and low voltage electrical distribution, building power and lighting, master antenna, communication and alarm systems installation, maintenance and repair of electrical motors, heaters, lighting, generators, transformers, high voltage electrical distribution systems, personal alarm and fire alarm systems, television master antenna and telecommunication systems and devices and other electrical equipment such as appliances, and shop equipment, lead to the Electrician II, skilled and semi-skilled inmate workers within Plant Operations. The position provides information for the preparation of Capital Outlay projects. Maintain a safety consciousness and awareness. Additional Information:
