JOB DESCRIPTION: This is the first supervisory level in the series and incumbents are responsible for one or more personnel transactions programs. Under general supervision, incumbents supervise a staff of Personnel Specialists performing personnel/payroll transactions functions. There may be functional supervision of lower-level Personnel Specialists in geographically separated locations. Incumbents develop and provide training and technical assistance to internal and departmental staff. Per Executive order #S-13-09, issued 7/1/09, positions are subject to a pay reduction of 13.85% to facilitate the three furlough days named in the order, which is subject to end on 6/30/2010.
