Job Description: This position is Limited Term due to the Statewide Internal Hiring Restriction. In the future the tenure may become Permanent. Under the direct supervision of the Community Resource Manager, the Native American Spiritual Leader interviews and counsels inmates on ethical and moral problems and spiritual matters. Prepares and conducts religious services and administrators religious and sacred music; supervises the arranging of programs conducted in the institutuion by visiting religious and allied groups; counsels with inmates regarding family problems; serves when designated , as a group member consultant or to classification committees and works with inmae groups and inmate activities. List Appointments and Lateral Transfers will be considered. Applications may be screened and only the most qualified will be considered. This position is pending 'Freeze Exemption Approval'.
