Under direction of the Correctional Health Services Administrator II, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst/Staff Services Analyst performs a variety of analytical tasks associated with the establishment and monitoring of all medical contracts at the institution. Track existing contracts for appropriate services and funding, and renew contracts timely as needed and requested; identify and request contracts for medical services not already on contract; under guidance works closely with contractors and Clinical Service areas needing services to ensure continuity of care and appropriateness of services; work closely with Health Care Cost and Utilization (HCCUP) and the Regional Accounting Offices to ensure proper contract funding; work directly with the institution Contract Section for all contracts and prepare necessary documents on a timely and accurate basis; conducts marketing survey’s and rate negotiations. *Salaries will be adjusted accordingly to comply with the provisions of the current furlough programs. “Per Governor's Executive Order #S-13-09, issued 07/01/2009, this position is subject to a pay reduction of 13.85% to facilitate the three furlough days named in the order, which is subject to end on 06/30/2010.
