Job Description: The Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist performs routine blood counts and urinalysis and blood sugars as ordered by staff physicians. Obtains blood and saliva specimens for compliance with Section 280.2 of the Penal Code. Oversees equipment maintenance and internal quality control program. Orders supplies and prepares specimens for referral to reference lab. *Salaries will be adjusted accordingly to comply with the provisions of the current furlough programs. “Per Governor's Executive Order #S-13-09, issued 07/01/2009, this position is subject to a pay reduction of 13.85% to facilitate the three furlough days named in the order, which is subject to end on 06/30/2010.
