Job Description: Under general supervision, incumbents administer nursing care to forensic clients, patients, or inmates at developmental center, State hospitals, and correctional facilities contracting with the Department of Mental Health; assist in planning and evaluating nursing care of assigned forensic clients, patients, or inmates; assist in assigning and directing and training other nursing service personnel; and perform other nursing related tasks. Under the direct supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse (SRN) and administrative direction of the Senior Medical Technical Assistant (MTA) in absence of the SRN, the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct general medical and psychiatric nursing care and treatment to patients; providing direction to nursing staff to assit other treatment team members in the delivery of care.***Salary may be reduced due to furlough executive orders.*** Additional Information:
