The Physician and Surgeon (P&S) (Internal Medicine/Family Practice), under general direction, performs assigned medical work in a State institution and provides care for inmates. Performs Health Care related duties consistent with the P&S Scope of Practice. A detailed duty statement is available on request. Salaries will be adjusted accordingly to comply with the provisions of the current furlough programs. “Per Governor's Executive Order #S-13-09, issued 07/01/2009, this position is subject to a pay reduction of 13.85% to facilitate the three furlough days named in the order, which is subject to end on 06/30/2010.
