Job Description: SALARY WILL BE ADJUSTED TO COMPLY WITH THE CURRENT FURLOUGH PROGRAM. THE POSITION NUMBER AND LOCATION OF THE VACANCY MUST BE INCLUDED ON THE APPLICATION BEING SUBMITTED. ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES MUST BE CURRENT STATE EMPLOYEES WITH STATUS IN THE CLASSIFICATION, MEET THE TRANSFER OR REINSTATEMENT ELIGIBILITY/CRITERIA BASED ON THE GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED BY THE STATE PERSONNEL BOARD, OR WHO ARE REACHABLE ON A CURRENT EMPLOYMENT LIST FOR THE CLASSIFICATION. UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE CORRECTIONAL FOOD MANAGER, THE FOOD ADMINISTRATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OPERATION OF THE DIET KITCHEN. THIS INCLUDES SUPERVISING AND TRAINING STAFF, WRITING MENUS FOR THE DIET KITCHEN. OTHER DUTIES PERFORMED BY THE FOOD ADMINISTRATOR ARE SUPERVISION OF DIETARY STAFF/ INMATES, DEVELOP AND EVALUATE STANDARDIZED RECIPES. THE INCUMBENT WILL COORDINATE BUDGETING AND ORDERING OF SPECIAL DIETARY PRODUCTS, AND PARTICIPATES IN THE SELECTION OF KITCHEN STAFF. Additional Information:
