Job Description: THIS VACANCY IS OPEN TO SROA/SURPLUS CANDIDATES AND ANY STATE EMPLOYEES WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO TRANSFER. The Associate Information Systems Analyst (supervisor) will coordinate the provision of on-site administrative and technical support of all information processing systems and supervise subordinate staff in the Redding and Eureka Systems departments. Responsibilities include: installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware and software. Supervise and administer the onsite support teams for end user support, PC/PRINTER/LAN/WAN maintenance; manage disaster recovery procedures and systems. Coordinate user training and support. Comply and conduct all audit activities and maintain inventory control. The Information Technology department is looking for a candidate with the following skills and qualifications: Ability to analyze and solve technical problems and issues Ability to make decisions and coordinate in a multi-system environment Ability to work independently and also be a productive team member Ability to communicate and coordinate skillfully with users, managers, peers, outside vendors and IT personnel Ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines Have a thorough understanding of PC hardware and software Supervise the onsite IT staff and conduct personnel functions as required.
