Job Description: The DMH Vacaville Psychiatric Program (VPP) is located within the California Medical Facility (CMF Department of Corrections). The Program consists of a licensed 150-bed Acute Psychiatric Program, a licensed 76-bed Intermediate Care Facility, and a 44-bed Day Treatment Program. Under the supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse or designee, the Registered Nurse is responsible for administering nursing care to inmate-patients, assists in directing and training service personnel, provides educational and direct therapy groups to inmate-patients and performs other related duties as required. The monthly RN salary above includes $200 per month recruitment and retention bonus.
