Job Description: The DMH Vacaville Psychiatric Program (VPP) is located within the California Medical Facility (CMF Department of Corrections). The Program consists of a licensed 150-bed Acute Psychiatric Program, a licensed 76-bed Intermediate Care Facility, and a 44-bed Day Treatment Program. This clinical position is in an innovative licensed psychiatric treatment program operated by the Department of Mental Health. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with safety and treatment challenges is required. If applicable, applications may be screened and only the most competitive candidates will be interviewed. Certification of list eligibles, lateral transfers, reinstatements, surplus employees encouraged to apply. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements to apply. Eligibility requirements must be indicated on a completed STD-678 (Examination And/Or Employment Application) and mailed to the Personnel Office at the address indicated.
