Job Description: The cut-off date for application acceptance for this period will be the close of business (5:00 p.m.) on May 05, 2010. Mailed applications must be postmarked no later than 12:00 midnight on May 05, 2010. Applications postmarked or received via inter-office mail after the cut-off date will be held for the next examination. DO NOT SUBMIT APPLICATIONS TO THE STATE PERSONNEL BOARD.Salary Ranges: A: $7534-$9843 B: $9126-$11,926 C: $9568-$12,500 D: $9845-$12,863. PLUS a Pay Differential of $1138.10 per month ($1453.10 pay differential for Range C) PLUS $200 per month Recruitment & Retention pay. This examination will consists of a Qualifications Appraisal Interview only, weighted 100.00%. In order to obtain a position on the eligible list, a minimum rating of 70.00% must be attained in the interview. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of medicine in California as determined by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance of the California Board of Osteopathic Examiners. (Applicants who are in the process odf securing approval of their qualifications by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance or the Board of Osteopathic Examiners will be admitted to the examination, but the Board to which application is made must determine that all legal requirements have been met before candidates will be eligible for appointment.) AND, Completion of internship in an approved hospital. (Applicants serving an internship will be admitted to the examination but they may not be appointed until they meet the other requirements stated above.)
