Job Description: *********$1,000 a month Recruitment and Retention Pay as well as $175 per month housing stipend*********************************** Medical Technical Assistants (Psychiatric) help create a clean, safe and therapeutic environment for inmate-patients and apply mental health principles in all relationships with inmate-patients. Perform tasks involved in the medical or psychiatric care of inmate-patients; maintain order and supervise the conduct of inmate-patients; protect and maintain the safety of persons and property; provide a basic level of general behavioral psychiatric nursing care to inmate-patients who are mentally disordered offenders; participate in the overall psychiatric treatment program, and do other related work.
