Job Description: WHO MAY APPLY: Eligible candidates who are current State employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former State employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification. UNDER THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF THE SUPERVISING REGISTER NURSE II, CF, PLANS AND IMPLEMENTS NURSING CARE, INCLUDING ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICATION, AND RESTORATIVE MEASURES ORDERED BY A PHYSICIAN; AND PERFORMS ASSESSMENT AND ONGOING MONITORING OF PATIENTS’ PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOSOCIAL STATUS, AND PROVIDES HEALTH CARE WITHIN THE APPROVED PARAMETERS OF THE RN STANDARDIZED PROTOCOLS TO ENSURE QUALITY AND CONTINUITY OF CARE IS DELIVERED CONSISTENT WITH DEPARTMENTAL POLICY. COORDINATES CLINIC OPERATION TO PROVIDE DIRECT PATIENT CARE, INCLUDING PROCESSING AND SORTING ALL SICK CALL APPOINTMENT REQUESTS; PERFORMING A NURSING ASSESSMENT AND TRIAGE FOR INMATES REQUIRING HEALTH CARE SERVICES, PROVIDE PATIENT CARE, PERFORMS AUDITS AND MONITORS TREATMENT, MONITORS THE INMATES’ WITH DISEASE STATUS AND THE DEGREE OF DISEASE CONTROL, MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION, AND SPECIMEN COLLECTION Additional Information:
